COVID-19 put a pause on racing for the majority of 2020. However, Harri’s training and determination for success continued the entire way through. Once racing recommenced in December of 2020, Harri put on a show at the Porsche Motorsport festival at Sandown, taking Pole position and winning the Carrera Cup Pro and Outright categories.

Harri had an up and down season in Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup in 2021. It was his third year racing under the McElrea Racing banner and all hands were on deck to bring home the gold and continue his climb up the Porsche Motorsport Pyramid. He showed blistering pace and some fantastic race craft, but some mistakes early in the season meant third was all he could manage in the title fight. Harri had a breakthrough win at Bathurst in the final round of the season, seeing him come away with 5 Podiums, 1 Race Win and 2 Pole Positions for the year. In 2022, Harri’s eyes are set firmly on the Porsche Carrera Cup title!

In 2019, Harri joined forces with McElrea Racing to campaign in the Porsche Michelin GT3 Cup Challenge. It was his first full season of ‘tin top’ racing, meaning he had to change his driving style from the ‘aero focused’ Formula 3 to the ‘mechanical focused’ Porsche. Harri’s hard work during the preseason and mentorship from the team at McElrea Racing meant he came to grips with the car with ease. He took the lead of the championship after a breakout win at Sydney Motorsport Park (Round 2) and after the final race of the year, he was 38 points in the clear, two Championships in two years!

Two wheels swapped to four when Motorsport appeared on His horizon at the age of fifteen. Harri’s pathway began with the Queensland Formula Ford Championship. A lack of Karting experience meant it was a very steep learning curve early on. However, with help from the team around him and his own relentless persistence and determination, Harri came to grips with the sport very quickly and was a frontrunner in the National Series through 2016 and 2017.
